Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 'Mazzetti Block'
The ‘Mazzetti Block’ enjoys a southeasterly slope toward the creek and afternoon shade, leading to more hangtime on the vine. It is named after Marco’s great-grandmother, Maddalena ‘Nonnie’ Mazzetti, who immigrated to the United States from Southern Italy and ran a boarding house for Italian immigrants in New York.
This wine is for anyone who loves Cabernet and cherishes time around the table with family and friends.
Deep garnet in appearance, leads to aromas of fresh mission fig, raspberry preserve, and an herbaceous melange. On the palate, bright Santa Rosa Plums are accompanied by notes of leather and wet stone with a hint of graphite. A luxurious and powdery tannin, accompanied by punctual acidity, yields an elegant and round feel.
